Renewable Energy Technologies DVD
A new DVD from SEMTA and EEF West Midlands takes a look at 'engineering a better environment' from the view point of two manufacturing companies. Converteam makes wind turbines and Geothermal International, as its name suggests, does geothermal installations.
Both films are 20mins in length, which is ideal for viewing and allows time for discussion afterwards.

Institute of Biology Genetic Resources
These genetic resources for schools and students have been developed to improve knowledge and understanding of human genetics within schools. They are intended to build confidence and enthusiasm in a fast moving growing area of science, and to stimulate interest, encouraging future generations to become doctors, nurses, technicians and scientists.
ABPI Resources for Schools
The association for the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) has recently re-developed their Resources for Schools website. The website provides access to interactive lessons and downloadable animations for use in the classroom.
Free training and consultancy
This new service from The Vocational Learning Support Programme has a menu of training, divided into a variety of umbrella themes. The programme specialises in raising attainment and improving the delivery of the vocational curriculum with a particular emphasis placed on the 13 vocational GCSE subject areas.
Free NLN STEM DVD
This free DVD contains a unique selection of e-learning resources taken from the full on-line National Learning Network (NLN) Materials suite. Specially chosen by the Science Learning Centre East of England to support the delivery of STEM subjects, the selection includes around 500 learning objects covering Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
