Four fun Science Investigations for KS2

What Will Happen

Each child will get the chance to carry out four different National Curriculum linked practical actities, including classifying, changing and separating materials.

Your pupils can create a lava lamp effect, produce gas to blow up balloons, split black into all the colours of the rainbow and find out which material is the hardest – all safely in your school hall!

WHY DO IT IN OUR SCHOOL?

· It helps you delivery Science 3 The SETPOINT team can offer curriculum support for teachers and

  raise children’s awareness of how scientists work.

· It builds home school links All children take home instructions to carry out the experiments.

· It’s fun and exciting Children, staff and parent helpers love it.

A whole day in school involving a 3 x 1 hr 20 min workshops for each class, with all materials and equipment provided is offered at a special price, thanks to The Royal Society of Chemistry and GlaxoSmithKline sponsorship.

You only need to provide your school hall, five adult helpers and 96 enthusiastic children!
