We are an educational charity whose aim is to inspire young people about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) We achieve this by engaging young people in memorable experiences and by enriching their lives through exposure to impressive people who work in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Everything we achieve is in partnership with others.

STEMPOINT Contract

We (SETPOINT Hertfordshire) hold the STEMPOINT contract for Hertfordshire, providing brokerage services for STEM Enhancement & Enrichment (E&E). Through this we have a responsibility to provide all schools and colleges with impartial advice and guidance on a wide range of STEM E&E activities, helping them to identify which opportunities can best inspire their young people in STEM. This includes advice on activities listed in the STEM directories as well as other regional and local provision.

STEM Ambassadors

We (SETPOINT Hertfordshire) hold the STEM Ambassadors contract for Hertfordshire, ensuring all schools and colleges have access to a range of exciting and dynamic role models in STEM. STEM Ambassadors are individuals who are willing to give their time and energy free of charge to help inspire young people in STEM - they can do this in a variety of ways from illustarting specific careers or helping with classroom activities to assisting in extra-curicular activities such as clubs, challenges and competitions.
